The
program will start at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 21,
2010. The final session will end at 5:15 pm.
There
will be no charge for the tutorial to Conference
registrants, but it is required that you indicate you
will be attending the tutorial when completing you’re
your registration form. A fee of $25.00 for
non-conference registrants will be charged, and a
registration indicating “Tutorial Only” must be

Exhibit Space
The
South Texas Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE),
in partnership with the PolymerMaterials and Additives (PMAD),
the Thermoplastic Materials and Foams (TPM&F) Divisions of
SPE, and The Flexible Packaging Division, is sponsoring the
upcoming "International Conference on Polyolefins 2010"and
The “FlexPackCon” to be held February 21 through February
24, 2010 at the Hilton Greenspoint Hotel, Houston, Texas.
The
South Texas Section of SPE would like to offer you the
opportunity to exhibit at this upcoming Conference. The
exhibit area is in the lobby of the hotel, immediately
adjacent to the conference session rooms. This year’s format
is improved to better accommodate exhibitors. There are 67
(8’x 10’) booth spaces with three levels and four table tops
available. The new Cantina will have a Mexican theme with
refreshments and good being served.

Arrangements for 220-volt electrical connections or
telephone lines for each booth should be made
through the Hilton Greenspoint Hotel (281-875-2222).
Arrangements for incoming and outgoing shipment of booth
materials should be made through TransAmerica Convention
Services (713-863-1300).
The
Exhibition Hall will be available for set up from 1300 to
1800 hours on Sunday, February 24th. The Exhibition Hall
will be open for visitors on February 22nd and February 23rd
from 0800 to 1700 hours. The Exhibition Hall will close
immediately after the end of the afternoon session on
Tuesday evening February 23rd. All exhibitors must
disassemble their booths and remove their shipping
containers on Tuesday evening after the close of the
exhibits. TransAmerica Convention Services will disassemble
of the exhibit area starting at 1700 hours on February 23rd.
Booth selection by exhibitors will be made in the order in
which actual payments are received. Selection of booth
spaces by exhibitors will be started as soon as payment is
received. Exhibitor registration forms, which include a
release statement, will be sent to each exhibitor upon
receipt of payment. Credit card payments will be accepted.

Poster
Contest
The South Texas Chapter of
the Society of Plastics Engineers is soliciting submissions
for student poster presentations in conjunction with the
International Conference on Polyolefins 2010. This
conference typically attracts more than 500 participants
which will provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate
commitment of your program and students to the global
plastics community. We encourage and welcome your
participation in the Student Poster Contest at the
Polyolefins 2010 Conference in Houston, TX.
The posters will be judged
on the following criteria:
