That any member of the South Texas Section is welcome to attend any Board Meeting. The Board Meetings are usually held prior to the section meeting. There are some Board meetings during the summer, when the section is not meeting. Attending a Board meeting is a good way to determine if you would like to get more involved in the operation of the Section. There is no obligation. You can meet and question the Board Members. The next Board meeting will be:

Section Technical Meetings; typically held on the second Monday of the month. We try to choose central locations, one being Hess, another being Spaghetti Warehouse. From time to time we sponsor a technical demonstration workshop. We are also considering lunch meetings from time to time.

September 13, 2010: BASEBALL KICK-OFF MIXER; includes game, mixer & food, cash bar; family & friends welcome. Minute Maid Park, Champions Pavillon, 5:30 PM. Tickets are available free for 'game-only'.
April 19, 2010: Frank Padula Memorial Golf Outing was attended by 93 golfers and earned $5,000 for support of student section in the State of Texas. The low gross foursome was Blake Korndoffer, Rodney Beem, Steve Henry, Bob Fair. The low net foursome was Shuichi Wada, Paul Spinks, Ritch Heller, David Bonham. The prize winners for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Ladies Longest drive were: Greg Paradine, Joe Yang and JoNell Kelly.
